Jazz Funk?
Many people use this word to define a style of dance “mistakenly” mostly by ignorance, commercially people say : I dance or give class of Jazz-Funk? but most have the least idea of what they are! “FUNKSTYLES” (Popping and Locking) if these two dance style merge them with “Jazz Dance” might be achieved in the ‘nearest’ sense But most people that say I dance “JAZZ-funk” have no idea what the technique of Popping and Locking is, example …no have idea of what they are: (Popping) pops and hits (Locking) Uncle Sam Points and Claps…..” JAZZ-FUNK” is a buzz word created by people who are fashioned mostly without foundations! But the people who really know this! You know, who knows about urban dance styles and music has knowledge of the topic, know very well that it is not correct! There is the word of “Jazz funk” dance and it already exists in many commercial schools of dance throughout the world, YESSSS that is marketing directed A LA MASA……But the minority perhaps unfortunately or fortunately, they are those who have real knowledge on the subject, the correct way and appropriate word would be smooth “Street Jazz
